I purchased my initial jet ski back in 04 when my family and I started out vacationing around the lake. I got to thinking about the trailer that transported the ski and remember thinking that they’re very basic and would be a lot better with a couple of adjustments made to them. It was when I got home that I made a decision to make my own customised jetski trailers. It would incorporate items that I required rather than what a jet ski designer wanted me to have. So what did I have in my personalised trailer?
Solid Checker Plate Bottom
I developed a checker plate floor for the trailer to begin with. Being rust proof was obviously a important point but it enabled me to hold objects underneath the jet ski that would generally be in your vehicle for example life vests, ski ropes etc.
Side Steps
I wasn’t interested in standing on the frame to reach the craft so I built some sturdy side steps to make accessibility to the jet ski less difficult.
Selection of Colour
I did not really want a boring looking jet ski trailer so I manufactured a couple of them and coated one white and the other black to suit the colour of one of my jet skis. This monster looked superb.
Jerry Can Holder
This made sense to me to provide a fuel can holder. Having the jerry can close by made refuelling simple.
Jockey Wheel and Winch
I sourced the best out there to be sure I wasn’t swapping these essential components too frequently. They had to be strong and last and that’s what we use on all our jet ski trailers.
I’m so pleased with my personal custom made jet ski trailer that friends soon were prompting me to build them one.
Ever since that day almost 8 years ago I have been building jet ski trailers from our premises in Croydon, Victoria. I invite you to get in touch with me, Russell, on my mobile phone 0401 673 107 to talk about constructing your next custom made jet ski trailer. I know you will love it.
