After a minor incident with the Nokia N8 mobile phone earlier this week I decided to take a closer look whether or not it is worth while taking out some type of safeguard policy to supply me some economic coverage for my assortment of several gadgets.

In essence what actually transpired with my Nokia N8 is it had fallen out from my jeans pockets whilst I was driving the car, after I got out of the automobile, my legs knocked the N8 onto the path and the display smashed. Simply pure bad luck really.

As I wasn’t covered by insurance, I was searching on the web for local repair services, this is when things started to get really silly. The laptop was on the carpeting by the TV, I was also sitting on the floor, the notebook monitor was already folded right back pointing at the ceiling so I could visualize it effortlessly from where I was sitting down. Holding the N8 close to my eyes endeavoring to look into the serial number from the rear of the mobile, the supper smooth brushed alloy outside struck once again and the N8 literarily sprang out the top of my hand and irrespective of my attempts to capture it, it landed directly on the mobile computer monitor.

An awful cold sensation took over my body straight away, in just two hours I had broken the monitor on both my phone and laptop pc, no mobile phone insurance and basically no laptop insurance and I am quite certain our property contents plan will not cover this kind of unintentional damage to this kind of gadgets.

After a quick five minutes on our Apple iPad and visiting an iPad insurance comparison web site, I decided to invest in some accidental damage protection before any more mishaps took place.
